New Feature in Dog's Life Magazine

A couple of months ago, Antonio Kobau from Dog Life Magazine (@doglifemagazinecame) came over with his amazing photographer Emilio Cuenta (@elfotografodeperros) to meet the pack and talk about the fosters, the goodbyes, and why I keep taking in the dogs nobody else will.

It was a pleasure to share this conversation with them, show them my home, and the pack.

Klea considers herself an animal lover to the point of madness, especially when it comes to dogs. It all started when, at six years old, an enormous St. Bernard knocked her to the ground... People swarmed around her, shouting, trying to help, while she, lying on the floor beneath the paws of the huge dog as it slobbered her with kisses, felt a sense of pure happiness.

Back then she still lived in Sweden, where you never saw dogs in need or abandoned. Some time later, when she arrived in Spain, she was shocked visiting a greyhound racing track and its kennels, and felt sadness when some people offered her money for her greyhound Tessa, as if she were merchandise. Thanks to SOS Galgos she came to understand the situation of these dogs in depth — both hunting dogs and those used for sporting activities — and for years she has collaborated with that association, as well as with Salvemos Podencos, serving as a foster home for many.
